Sunny....yesterday my heart was filled with rain...

I'm stuck in work today.... and my mind wanders back in time when, two weeks ago, I was in Paris with me Irish, having a nice lunch in the sun.

I also had to share with you the pics of my brother in law's car... which will someday hopefully be mine!! The 1978 or 1979?? Pontiac Firebird

My niece and nephew in the back - so proud.
Mon neveu et ma nièce à l'arrière - super fiers.

Did u notice the change? the size of the pictures? Alleluia to Becca Joy from "The Red Magnolia"!

Meow Sailor...

Yesterday evening, at a friend's birthday party.

I wore a Collectif leopard red cardigan found in a rockabilly shop in Berlin, a New Look sailor-inspired dress, and red patent heels from Dunnes Stores.

A guy later arrived at the party in his classic 1950s car.... so me and my friends had to go and see it and well...pose! No need to tell you I'd kill for a car like that...

Friday night and I'm off to meet me Irish in a pub with his colleagues. After a few drinks, there's a real need for food... comfy food!

Eddie Rocket's is a chain of Irish and English restaurants. I love going there as they are a complete and full reproduction of a 50s American diner.

The Rock 'n Roll music and the whole look of the place, with its individuals jukeboxes and funny signs is definitely worth going there, though I wouldn't urge you to go for the food itself, which is ok but...well, just OK actually.

The chain owns a classic Buick to diiiiiiiie for!! Everytime I see it in the streets of dublin, I just want to get into my "GTA Vice City" mood and beat the crap out of the driver, so that it could be mine... MY PRECIOUS!!! (yeah I can be mental sometimes)

I wish I had put on something for the occasion.... but instead I put on a classy Tux and a nice dress, with FrouFrou heels...

Everything from Penneys, except for the Tuxedo jacket which comes from Oasis.

I promised myself to actually dress someday in one of my pin-up's outfit in order to do some nice shots at Eddie's... that could be fun!! :-)

You have a nice weekend Ladies...

---------------------------------------------------------------

Bon weekend Ladies...

Friday night

First, I must apologize for the very poor quality of the last post. I was hoping to show beautiful extra large pictures, and in the end, they just go messy, and you can only see half of them, unless you click on them, which is crap, I agree...
If anyone here could help me with this issue, I'll be more than happy!!

Here you can happily discover one of my so many vices...

Yesterday night, Me and me Irish went out to celebrate one of my colleague/friend's birthday in a place called The church. It's a magnificent place that used to be ..... a church, right. They kept most of its features, the huge organ included.

It's really beautiful and again, if you come over to Dublin, you must go and have a drink there.
It's a bit more pricey compared to other pubs, but nothing too ridiculous. It also has a huge restaurant and a glass tower (yeah!) in front of the building. And a club, which is quite bad, but still fun if you're among friends, of course.

On the way in, I again saw a Dream car!! here I am trying to show how well it would go with my outfit... yeah, you gotta think about that as well!! accessories girls, accessories!!

We stayed there till it closed, i.e 2.30am (early granny...) then had a last drink at my friend's. Eventually went to bed at 4.30am, and had to wake up at 7am to go to work, which obviously didn't work, as I didn't hear the alarm clock.... whatever... it's Saturday....

Coat, jacket, bag, bow - Penneys
jeans - Topshop
Black shirt & belt- River Island
Red heels - Dunnes

I'm pretty wrecked tonight, so I think I'm just gonna chill out on the couch, watching "The Other Boleyn Girl" that my boyfriend kindly bought for me.

Have a nice weekend me beauties!!

Sunday Lazy Sunday...

Today, I was off work....HOORAY!!

I am supposed to be working on Sundays, but as we had some friends over for dinner last night, and I knew we would definitely not go to bed early, I decided not to take a chance on my physical and mental state for the day after, and asked for a day off.

I first woke up at about 9.30am, feeling peckish. I had a nice breakfast watching some morning crap* on TV and then decided to go back to bed, in order to read quietly. I actually went back to sleep, till 12.30am... long time since it happened to me!

We then decided to go to the National Botanic Gardens, which are only a 10-minute walk away from home. Although the sun was shining all morning, the weather was quite chilly, but still ok to go out with a light jacket on.

The walk in the park was lovely and very relaxing. I was so happy to be out :-)
We saw some cute squirrels, and one nearly came up to me, until my boyfriend scared him... I wasn't impressed!!

On the way back into town, I saw that gorgeous Triumph car.... no need to tell I fell in love the moment I saw it....

Once we arrived in town, we had lunch in a small café... with seating for only 15! I especially like the atmopshere of the place, and the decoration. The food wasn't amazing I must say, but at least we were off the touristic places...

Now it's time for watching the new season of "The Tudors".... Have a good Monday!!!
